Pursuant to the November 29, 2005 Law on Environmental Protection;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 21/2013/ND-CP of March 4, 2013, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 25/2013/ND-CP of March 29, 2013, on environmental protection charge for wastewater;
At the proposal of the general director of the Vietnam Environment Administration and the director of the Legal Department,
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment promulgates the list of production and processing sectors that generate wastewater containing heavy metals as a ground for calculation of the environmental protection charges for wastewater.
Article 1. To promulgate the list of production and processing sectors that generate wastewater containing heavy metals
1. Leather tanning and reprocessing.
2. Coal mining; metal mineral mining and processing.
3. Fabric and fiber dyeing.
4. Chemical production.
5. Mechanical engineering, metallurgy, metal working, machine and spare part manufacture.
6. Manufacture of electric and electronic components and equipment.
7. Metal recycling; recycling of metallurgical scraps and other industrial wastes.
8. Dismantling old vessels, vessel cleansing.
9. Concentrated industrial wastewater treatment systems (taking wastewater from establishments engaged in production and processing sectors on this list).
