Circular No. 12/2013/TT-BGTVT of May 30, 2013, prescribing the use of cement concrete road surface structure in construction of traffic works
Pursuant to the November 26, 2003 Construction Law;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 12/2009/ND-CP of February 12, 2009, on management of investment projects on construction of works;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 83/2009/ND-CP of October 15, 2009, amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 12/2009/ND-CP of February 12, 2009, on management of investment projects on construction of works;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 107/2012/ND-CP of December 20, 2012, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
At the proposal of the director of the Department of Science and Technology and the general director of the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam,
The Minister of Transport promulgates the Circular on the use of cement concrete road surface structure in construction of traffic works.
Article 1. Scope of regulation
This Circular prescribes the use of cement concrete road surface structure in construction of traffic works, regardless of their investment sources.
Article 2. Subjects of application
This Circular applies to organizations and individuals involved in the construction of traffic works using cement concrete road surface structure.
Article 3. Interpretation of terms
1. Cement concrete road surface structure means a type of road topping structure with the surface layer made of cement concrete and the foundation layer made of cement-reinforced macadam or poor concrete or other materials, and directly placed on the road base or foundation bottom.
2. Traffic works include road works, rail works, waterway works, airfields, car terminals, car parks, stopovers and other auxiliary works.
Article 4. Conditions on and scope of application of cement concrete road surface structure
