Circular No. 19/2012/TT-BVHTTDL dated December 28, 2012 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
Pursuant to the June 29, 2001 Law on Cultural Heritage and the June 18, 2009 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 98/2010/ND-CP of September 21, 2010, detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 185/2007/ND-CP of December 25, 2007, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
At the proposal of the Director of the Cultural Heritage Department;
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues the Circular providing categories of vestiges and antiques banned from being taken abroad as follows:
Article 1. Scope of regulation
1. This Circular provides categories of vestiges and antiques banned from being taken out of Vietnam.
2. This Circular does not apply to vestiges and antiques permitted to be taken overseas for display, exhibition, research or preservation.
Article 2. Subjects of application
This Circular applies to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals involved in the taking of vestiges and antiques out of Vietnam.
