PROMULGATING THE PLAN ON THE FREQUENCY BAND OF 2500-2690 MHZ FOR VIETNAM'S IMT

Pursuant to the November 23, 2009 Law on Radio Frequency;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 187/2007/ND-CP of December 25, 2007, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the. Ministry of Information and Communications;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 125/2009/QD-TTg of October 23, 2009, on the plan on the national radio frequency spectra;
At the proposal of the director of the Radio Frequency Directorate,
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 187/2007/ND-CP of December 25, 2007, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the. Ministry of Information and Communications;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 125/2009/QD-TTg of October 23, 2009, on the plan on the national radio frequency spectra;
At the proposal of the director of the Radio Frequency Directorate,
STIPULATES:
Article 1. To promulgate the plan on the frequency band of 2500-2690 MHz for Vietnam's IMT mobile communication system with the following contents:
1. Scope of regulation:
This plan is applicable to establishing the mobile communication systems up to IMT standard of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) in Vietnam in the frequency band of 2500-2690 MHz.
2. Contents of the plan:
a/ The frequency band of 2500-2690 MHz is reserved for IMT mobile communication system in Vietnam;
b/ The frequency band of 2500-2690 MHz is divided as follows:
Each operator of the IMT mobile communication system using Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) is entitled to one block A-A, B-B' and C-C’ as specified in the frequency band use license.
Operators of the IMT mobile communication system using Time Division Duplex (TDD) are entitled to block D as specified in the frequency band use license.
