DECISION
ON DIESEL IMPORT AND CIRCULATION
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
Pursuant to Resolution No. 01/2007/QH12 dated July 31, 2007 of the first session of the XII th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on organizational structure of the Government and number of deputy Prime Ministers of the Government in the XII th term;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2006 defining the functions, task, powers and organizational structure of the ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 55/2007/ND-CP dated April 6, 2007 of the Government on oil and petrol trading;
At the proposal of the director of the Planning and Investment Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1.
The designated petrol and oil import enterprises shall import and circulate diesel according to the following specific regulations:
1. To import and supply the domestic market 2 kinds of diesel with sulfur content of 500 mg/kg (DO 0.05S) and 2,500 mg/kg (DO 0.25S)
2. The supply of diesel to the market must ensure:
a) Not to sell diesel with sulfur content of over 500 mg/kg for road transportation means;
b) Oil and petrol stations specialized in serving road transportation means shall only sell 0.05S diesel;
c) Other oil and petrol stations may sell both kinds of above-mentioned diesel.
The diesel selling stores and filling stations must specify the sulfur content and suggest suitable kind of diesel for each object (transport automobiles, vessels or boats, etc.)
Article 2.
The Departments of Trade of provinces and centrally-run cities shall have to control and inspect the implementation of import and circulation of various kinds of diesel, ensure the stabilization of the market, timely detect and handle the violations.
