Decision No. 07/2008/QD-BKHCN dated July 08, 2008 of the Ministry of Science and Technology promulgating the list of prepackaged goods subject to state management of measurement

DECISION

PROMULGATING THE LIST OF PREPACKAGED GOODS SUBJECT TO STATE MANAGEMENT OF MEASUREMENT

THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Pursuant to the October 6, 1999 Ordinance on Measurement;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 28/ 2008/ND-CP of March 14, 2008, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

At the proposal of the General Director of the Directorate for Standards and Quality,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To promulgate together with this Decision the List of prepackaged goods subject to state management of measurement.

Article 2. The measurement examination of prepackaged goods in the List prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision complies with the Science and Technology Minister's Decision No. 02/2008/QD-BKHCN of February 25, 2008.

For prepackaged goods not on the List prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision, their measurement examination shall be based on quantitative values printed on labels and documents enclosed with the goods.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in "CONG BAO" and replaces Decision No. 6112002/QD-BKHCNMT of August 9, 2002, of the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (now the Minister of Science and Technology).

Article 4. The Directorate for Standards and Quality shall guide the implementation of this Decision.

Article 5. The General Department for Standards and Quality, provincial/municipal Sub­Departments for Standards and Quality and concerned organizations and individuals shall implement this Decision./.
