DECISION
PUBLICIZING THE LIST OF VIETNAMESE STANDARDS AND BRANCH STANDARDS TO BE COMPULSORILY APPLIED
THE MINISTER OF COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSPORT
Pursuant to Clause 5, Article 48 of the Land Road Traffic Law of June 29, 2001;
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Ordinance on Goods Quality of December 24, 1999;
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 22/CP of March 23, 1994 on the tasks, powers, State management responsibilities and organizational structure of the Ministry of Communications and Transport;
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 86/CP of December 8, 1995 assigning the State management responsibility for goods quality;
Pursuant to Clause 5, Article 1 of the Prime Ministers Decision No. 38/2002/QD-TTg of March 14, 2002 on the management of the manufacture, assembly and import of motorcycle components;
At the proposal of the director of the Department of Science and Technology and the director of Vietnam Registry,
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Ordinance on Goods Quality of December 24, 1999;
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 22/CP of March 23, 1994 on the tasks, powers, State management responsibilities and organizational structure of the Ministry of Communications and Transport;
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 86/CP of December 8, 1995 assigning the State management responsibility for goods quality;
Pursuant to Clause 5, Article 1 of the Prime Ministers Decision No. 38/2002/QD-TTg of March 14, 2002 on the management of the manufacture, assembly and import of motorcycle components;
At the proposal of the director of the Department of Science and Technology and the director of Vietnam Registry,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To issue together with this Decision the List of technical and quality standards of manufactured and assembled mopeds and motorcycles (the List is enclosed herewith).
Article 2.- For those models of motorcycles, systems, frames, and transmission parts which have been granted the quality certificates before the effective date of this Decision, such certificates shall continue to be valid for 12 more months .
