DECISION
APPROVING THE "2001-2010 EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY"
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the September 30,1992 Law on Organization of the Government;
Pursuant to the Education Law of December 2, 1998;
Considering the report of the Minister of Education and Training,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To approve the "2001-2010 educational development strategy" promulgated together with this Decision.
Article 2.- To assign the tasks of implementing the strategy:
a) The National Council for Education shall assist the Prime Minister in directing the implementation of the 2001-2010 educational development strategy.
b) The Ministry of Education and Training shall assume the prime responsibility and coordinate with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the concerned ministries, branches and provincial/municipal People’s Committees in organizing the implementation of the 2001-2010 educational development strategy; draw up and organize the implementation of five-year and annual educational plans in conformity with the educational development strategy as well as the socio-economic development plans; guide, inspect, supervise and sum up the implementation situation and periodically report it to the Prime Minister; organize the preliminary review of the implementation of the 2001-2010 educational development strategy in early 2006 and the final review thereof in early 2011.
