DECISION
PUBLICIZING THE LIST OF VIETNAMESE ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS FOR COMPULSORY APPLICATION
THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT
Pursuant to Article 16 of the Law on Protection of the Environment, which was passed by the National Assembly on December 12, 1993 and took effect as from January 10, 1994;
Pursuant to the December 24, 1999 Goods Quality Ordinance;
Pursuant to Article 22 of the Government’s Decree No. 175/CP guiding the implementation of the Law on Protection of the Environment;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 22/CP of May 22, 1993 on the tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment;
At the proposal of the director of the Environment Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To issue together with this Decision the List of Vietnamese environmental standards for compulsory application.
Article 2.- In cases where the List mentioned in Article 1 contains many Vietnamese standards prescribed for one object, the parameters and concentration degrees of pollutants, which have not yet been prescribed in the newly-promulgated Vietnamese standards, shall be applied according to the previously promulgated ones also included in this List.
