STIPULATING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF NATIONAL CENTER FOR RURAL WATER SUPPLY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION

Pursuant to Decree No.01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
At the proposals of the Director of Organization and Personnel Department
DECIDES:
Article 1. Position and functions
The National Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation (NCERWASS) is an administrative organization under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, implementing state management of rural water supply and environmental sanitation (RWSS) nationwide for the Ministry.
According to the clause 24, Article 3 of Decree 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008, the National Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation is reorganized from The Centre for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation.
The National Centre for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation (hereinafter referred to as the Centre) has legal status with operation costs financed from the state budget, and has its own stamp and bank account. It is a self-control administrative organization with self-responsibility for the application of public services under the state regulations.
The headquarters of the Centre is located in Ha Noi City.
