DECISION
DEPLOYING THE INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF HOA LAC HI-TECH PARK’S INFRASTRUCTURE
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 198/1998/QD-TTg of October 12, 1998 approving the general planning and investment project, Step 1, Phase I of the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 10/2000/QD-TTg of January 18, 2000 on the establishment of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board;
At the proposals of the State Evaluation Council on Investment Projects (Official Dispatch No. 5494/HDTD of August 5, 1998) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (Official Dispatch No. 1136/BKHCNMT-CNC of April 26, 2001);
In order to concentrate investment, ensuring that Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park project is implemented as scheduled and put into operation soon,
 
DECIDES:
Article 1.- Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park’s Management Board shall act as the main coordinator assigned with annual plan norms and as the investor directly managing projects funded with budget capital at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.
Article 2.- Investment capital for the construction of technical infrastructure and site clearance for the implementation of Step 1, Phase I of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park (estimated at USD 96 million under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 198/1998/QD-TTg of October 12, 1998) shall be channeled from the State budget and other lawful capital sources on the basis of the list of projects approved by the competent authorities.
Article 3.- In 2001, the Ministry of Planning and Investment shall arrange concentrated budget capital for the implementation of the following project items:
1. Compensation for clearance of the 200 ha site: VND 28 billion (of total investment capital amount of VND 68 billion).
