DECREE

ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PROVINCIAL/MUNICIPAL SERVICES OF POST AND TELEMATICS UNDER THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES OF THE PROVINCES AND CENTRALLY-RUN CITIES

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the December 25, 2001 Law on Organization of the Government;

Pursuant to the November 26, 2003 Law on Organization of the People's Councils and People's Committees;

At the proposals of the Minister of Post and Telematics and the Minister of Home Affairs,

DECREES:

Article 1. -To establish the provincial/municipal Services of Post and Telematics under the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities.

The provincial/municipal Services of Post and Telematics are professional agencies which assist the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities in performing the function of State management over post, telecommunications, information technology, electronics, Internet, wave transmission and broadcasting, radio frequencies and information infrastructures (referred collectively to as post, telecommunications and information technology); and manage public services regarding post, telecommunications and information technology in the provinces and centrally-run cities.
