DECREE
ON THE SUPPLY AND USE OF CHECKS
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam of December 12, 1997;
Pursuant to the Law on Credit Institutions of December 12, 1997;
At the proposal of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam,
DECREES:
Chapter I
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1.- Subjects of regulation and scope of application
This Decree prescribes the supply and use of checks, including: supply, drawing, transfer, guarantee, payment, recourse, initiation of lawsuits and other arising matters related to checks supplied by the payment service-providing organizations operating in the Vietnamese territory.
Article 2.- Right to agree on the application of this Decree to checks supplied outside the Vietnamese territory
