ON THE WORK OF URBAN DESIGN
Over the past years, progress has been made in the work of urban construction planning and architectural development in our country. Many new urban centers, works, roads and residential quarters have been built, thus renewing the views of cities, urban centers and residential quarters. However, the urban architecture order is not yet established; the architecture develops in a diversified manner, but spontaneously and fails to form its own identity. Such situation is attributed largely to the fact that attention has not been paid to the work of urban design.
In order to redress the above situation and to attain the target of building and developing a modern architecture imbued with national identity, the Prime Minister instructs:
