To: Credit Institutions
On 20 May 2010, the Governor of the State Bank issued the Circular No. 13/2010/TT-NHNN providing for prudential ratios in activities of credit institutions (Circular 13). In order to ensure the united implementation of provisions in the Circular 13 after its effectiveness (since 1 October 2010), the Governor of the State Bank hereby requires credit institutions:
1. To organize the implementation of necessary preparative works (such as investment in information technology, data updating, building internal regulations, etc...), ensuring the immediate implementation of provisions of the Circular 13 upon its effectiveness.
2. To temporarily calculate ratios as stipulated in the Circular 13 according to the data as at 30 June 2009.
