Re: Regulating the activity of foreign currency trading

- General Directors (Directors) of Credit Institutions authorized to engage in foreign exchange activity
 
In order to regulate the activity of foreign currency trading, Governor of the State Bank requires:
1. Credit Institutions authorized to engage in foreign exchange activity to seriously comply with provisions on not collecting fee for spot, swap, forward foreign exchange transactions as stipulated in Paragraph 1, Article 10 of the Decision No. 1452/2004/QD-NHNN dated 10 November 2004 of Governor of the State Bank on foreign exchange transactions of credit institutions authorized to trade in foreign currencies.
2. Credit Institutions authorized to engage in foreign exchange activity not to perform the transaction of buying and selling between Vietnam Dong and US dollar through another foreign currency.
3. Chief Inspector of State Bank, Managers of State Bank branches in provinces, cities to examine, inspect, supervise the implementation of Point 1 and 2 in this Official Dispatch by credit institutions.
