Official Dispatch No. 7077/BCT-HC dated July 14, 2015 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade processing packages of inorganic fertilizers without conformity markings

In consideration of enquiries of manufacturers and traders of inorganic fertilizers with regard to implementation of regulations on use of conformity markings on product packages according to Circular No. 29/2014/TT-BCT dated September 30, 2014 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on guidelines for some Articles on inorganic fertilizers; guidelines for licensing manufacturing of both inorganic fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and other fertilizers in the Government's Decree No. 202/2013/ND-CP dated November 27, 2013 on fertilizer management; for the purpose of minimizing loss and waste of packages of inorganic fertilizers without conformity markings that are printed before the effective date of Circular No. 29/2014/TT-BCT, and for serving manufacturing, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hereby provides some opinions:
1. Inorganic fertilizers that are manufactured and declared under appropriate Vietnam’s Standards, internal standards or foreign standards (the packages of which do not have conformity markings) before the effective date of Circular No. 29/2014/TT-BCT (November 27, 2011) and being sold on the market may be sold until the expiration dates on their packages.
