1. Why should you register the inventions of doors, windows, shutters, roller blinds, and ladders?

There are so many products of doors, windows, shutters, roller blinds, and ladders are manufactured and distributed in the market and this is a very huge market. In this industry, companies often invest a lot of money in researching new inventions to meet the demands of customers. Therefore, it is very important to protect the inventions in this industry because losing the invention can have a very bad impact on the image and value of a company. Along with different technical methods, legal protection is always the protection that every owner of invention should have. In order to do so, the owner of an invention has to register the invention with the authority for a patent. The competent state agencies to issue patents for inventions is the National Office of Intellectual Property. This procedure will bring great benefits, such as

Firstly, the owner of a patented invention will have exclusive rights to apply the invention in manufacturing and providing particular products or services. This will be a significant competitive advantage for a company to strengthen its position and win other competitors in the market. This legal protection prohibit other third parties from exploiting the registered invention, unless they have the permission of the owner. If there is any party violates these exclusive rights, the patent will be a legal basis for the competent state agencies to identify the rightful owner of the invention, settle disputes and handle the infringement.

Besides, a registered invention also helps company to sell more products/services that are based on the invention. Customers are always attracted by new new inventions, and a patent will create an image of a reliable company with high-quality products/services.

On the other hand, the owner of the invention cannot afford to commercialize the invention, the company can still benefit from this investment by transferring or licensing the patent. Owners of invention often choose to license the patent because this method will not only provide a passive income source but also still give the owners the right to commercialize the invention and control the competition in the market.

Last but not least, a patent will help a company attract more investors and business partners, increase the chance of success in fundraising, finding business partners or raising the market value of the company. Business partners and investors will see the company as an innovative company with high level of expertise.
