RESOLUTION

adjusting the 2014 Law and Ordinance - Making program of the XIII^th National Assembly and approving the 2015 Law-and Ordinance-Making Program

THE NATIONAL ASSEMLY

Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Law No. 30/2001/QH10 on Organization of the National Assembly, which was amended and supplemented under Law No. 83/2007/QH11;

Pursuant to Law No. 17/2008/QH12 on Promulgation of Legal Documents;

Considering the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Official Letter No. 652/TTr-UBTVQH13 of May 15, 2014, on tentative adjustments to the 2014 law-and ordinance-making program of the XIII^th National Assembly and its 2015 law-and ordinance-making program, and Report No. 667/BC-UBTVQH13 of May 29, 2014, explaining and assimilating National Assembly deputies’ opinions on tentative adjustments to the 2014 law-and ordinance-making program of the XIII^th National Assembly and its 2015 law-and ordinance-making program,

RESOLVES:

Article 1

To add the following drafts to the law-and ordinance-making program of the XIII^th National Assembly:

1. The Law on Beliefs and Religions.

2. The Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality.

3. The Ordinance on Professional Soldiers and National Defense Workers and Personnel.

4. The National Assembly’s Resolution on preferential mechanisms for special scientific and technological research institutions.

Article 2

To adjust the 2014 law-and ordinance-making program as follows:

1. To add the following drafts to the list of drafts to be passed at the 7th session:

a/ The Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality (to be discussed and passed at the same session);

b/ The amended National Assembly’s Resolution on votes of confidence for holders of positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People’s Councils (to be discussed and passed at the same session).

2. To add the draft Law on Civil Status to the list of drafts to be discussed at the 7th session and passed at the 8th session.

3. To add the draft National Assembly’s Resolution on joining international peacekeeping forces to the list of drafts to be passed at the 8th session.

4. To add the following drafts to the list of drafts to be discussed at the 8th session:

a/ The amended Law on State Audit;

b/ The Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units;

c/ The Law on Animal Health;

d/ The National Assembly’s Resolution on preferential mechanisms for special scientific and technological research institutions.

5. To transfer the following drafts from the list of drafts to be discussed at the 7th session to the list of drafts to be discussed at the 8th session:

a/ The amended Law on Organization of the Government;

b/ The amended Law on the State Budget.
