Lệnh ngưng thua lỗ (STOP LOSS ORDER) là chỉ thị hiện hành để cho một người môi giới bán một số cổ phần của chứng khoán ấn định nếu giá hạ đến một mức nào đó. A standing instruction left with a broker to sell a stipulated number of shares of stock if the price declines to a certain level. When this occurs, the order automatically becomes a market order. Although the broker will try to execute the order at the stop price, he cannot guaranty to do so.
