Before 1936, the New York Stock Exchange printed information concerning lost certificates on the ticker tape. But this practice has been discontinued and the Exchange now advises that owners of destroyed or misplaced securities make contact directly with the Tranfer a gent of the company concerned. The requirements for issuing a new certificate and the cost of the perpetual security bond the owner must furnish differ with each company.
